What belongs in this file

Every licensed radio and television station keeps a public inspection file, hosted by the FCC and open to anyone without a login. The record the FCC reviews most closely is the quarterly issues and programs list, due January 10, April 10, July 10 and October 10, describing the community issues the station identified and the programming that addressed them. Those lists stay in the file until final action on the station's next license renewal.

A folder that looks empty does not always mean a station has not filed. The most common mistake we find is a finished list uploaded into the wrong folder, where it counts for nothing and nobody notices.
